I like your Schecter. I own a 96 Traditional. Do you still own yours?
-
At last, one that sounds good.
-
@burgemusic it's the current that kills you.

How does it handle Stevie Ray?

Yep still have the Schecter it was new in 1997 model 'S' I think was all they called it.... It was the most expensive guitar I had bought back then..... Ive tried others but never felt like parting company with it.

As long as you are familiar with a soldering iron/electronics in a general (ie know that some voltages can kill you and others are harmless) it is really pretty straightforward.
But for someone who had never soldered any components together in their life - well maybe it would be a bit much to tackle.
Anything is possible if you try !!

Mine does squeal too actually :-) ..if both gain knobs are in the last quarter of travel....
... the 'threshold of squeal' is lower when you are not plugged in...

Hi there - actually, I dont know "exactly" what the wattage is - there is one EL84 output valve - I believe that means about 5-7 watts output.
Its plenty loud for house practice / jamming - but would not be loud enough for a full band with drumkit without some help from a PA
