I haven't practiced this one in months, but seeing as it's probably MUSE's most popular right now, i thought it would make sense to cover it :) I (purposely) played it a bit differently to the original (left out some octaves in the verse, played some notes i shouldn't/vice versa, and stuff), but i like it layered this way..

XD The main tips I can give are: 1) PRACTICE, 2) Find as much material online (youtube is brilliant) to teach you about your instrument and about techniques - learn from people you think are good: examine how they play, and try to replicate the good traits, 3) Focus on playing WHAT YOU HEAR (playing by ear). If you KNOW how the song sounds, then you'll know how to play it on your instrument. 4) Identify common patterns on the bass, and practice scales
