  • WATER WILL GO DOWN IN IT

  • @rogerscottburchett1 Water will be ingested into a stock intake first. If you're driving into water 4 1/2 feet deep or deeper buy a snorkel kit for $400 more.

  • I just put this in my 2006 jeep wrangler Rubicon six speed w stage 2 center force clutch and magnaflow muffler its sick sounds like a turbo whistling in the cab loud at open throttle sounds like a tie fighter will put up vid soon they don't redline in this vid due to automatic

  • @TobeNuts4U This is the only true fresh air intake system on the market other than a snorkel. I agree with you that I am not too keen on the polished aluminum. I plan on painting it black sometime when I have nothing else going on.

  • @TobeNuts4U If you look at your Jeep there is a fine mesh screen on the cowl vent opening. Water drips in verses flooding in as many people might think. As long as you make sure your cowl vent drain is clean you should have no water concerns at all with this system over stock. For added insurance I added a Bushwacker cowl intake scoop and reversed it (aka 60's muscle care style) so it breaths from the back so any water flowing across the hood is diverted.

  • @TobeNuts4U I understand your concern but based on my experience with this intake system there is less chance of ingesting water with it verses the stock intake. If you have water deep enough to flow over your hood your factory intake opening is already under water. In most cases you are nose down when entering deep water away so again the factory intake is under water first. The intake draws air 2 inches above the bottom of the cowl box and is off center from the cowl vent opening.

  • Check out our video response above. It's our latest product review, Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake and PowerAid Throttle body spacer.

  • Nice Video!
