I believe that Miss Betty was naturally "hopped Up"! She was really a "live wire"!

Whoops ... you are right ... the video is mislabled as being in 1939 ... the correct year is 1938. Sorry about that!

Actually, she was 18 (born on Feb 26, 1921) ... nevertheless, she's still amazing!
Great performance. It is amazing that she is only 17 years old here. In a U.S.O show performance, Bob Hope called her a vitamin pill with legs.
She really does show a great amount of energy and comic inventiveness.
