Untitled Yoshi's Island Hack - "Blastin' Fun"

Here goes the second level of my unnamed YI hack, "Blastin' Fun"! As the name makes some sort of reference, this level features plenty of bullet bill cannons scattered around it, as well as quite some Snifits in the second (and last) section of it. I believe that the level icon doesn't look so good, so in case you're wondering what that green thing drawn in it is supposed to be, it is suposed to be a green Bullet Bill. I will probably redraw that level icon later, as well, since it didn't came out as I planned... :\

Hey, It's me, Troopa. Nice to see progress on YI hacking. I'm actually convinced to make a level just for teh lulz. Although we can't expect anything full from me until Golden Egg is complete.

On the contrary, I've actually talked to Romi about letting me beta test Golden Egg once it is ready for doing so.

I'll let you know how it is if he decides to let me, and I may even make a YI hack to accompany it along release ;O

The level has few, if any side paths and is pretty straightfoward. The player wouldn't have to even try to collect everything (don't worry fanboys, the level is pretty fun still and it's excuseable since it's 1-2).

hmm yes not even close to linear at all!!! durrrr.

The piranha plant at the start looks wierd with how it's slightly above the screen, as does the way that the clouds in the helicopter section scroll with the horizon.

Overall, I like the level, but it's a bit linear and should have more exploration.

A name idea: Life's a blast!

...or Cliffside Cannons (not sure if this is an appropriate name because, where are the cliffs?)

5)That same line-guided platform part seems a bit empty. Maybe you could have more stuff going on.

Other wise, very nice. I like it.

Looks definately good. There are some things that I want to note, though:

1) You seems to start your levels always with an Egg Block. Try not to do it with every level, but it's okay, since this is just the second one of the entire game.

2)W00tsauce, helicopters.

3)The jump at 2:02 is a bit blind. Maybe have those coins going downwards would help.

4)I may be stupid, but I don't remember seeing a key for that Bandit House before the line-guided platform part.
