Elektor Formant Synthesizer - First shot

Running this synth for the first time. First demo patch after unpacking. It needs to be cleaned, repaired and tuned

It was handmade in Germany in 1982 with keyboard embedding a sequencer

How come all the PCBs are mounted at such a strange angle?

probably for easy access to fine tuning features

It was totally hand made and the angle is made of silver-plated cables joining another pcb (pots, sw...)

I made a totally different casing and bent off the angles of all modules :
