applegreen(pun intended) totally outclassed jiang in that match from my point of view. apple should have won without losing the 2nd set had jiang not been allowed to rely on his guile and play any tricks in the game. the umpire was too lenient with jiang imho. in fact, apple turned out to be the penholders' worst nightmare in the 1989 wttc, beating famous asian players like jiang, chen longchan, yoo nam kyu, kim ki taek(the notorious waldner killer), kim park soo, kim song hui one after another.

Not in this match :P but other than that u are right. So many good Chinese players over the years, we can only watch in awe. But Sweden had some succees and im happy with that. Cheers
