  • the greatest and funniest cartoon i have ever seen! ive seen it over a hundred times and i find something new and crazy everytime! the look on his face at 2:38 and 2:52 and the pie at 4:38 plus the contagious laughter its the best ever! SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • I actually had a sign with "click" written on it on my lamp and a "tick tock" sign on my clock and they were there for years until i moved house. I think i'll make them again :) This cartoon rules!

    The Okeh Laughing Record was made into a Walter Lantz cartoon in the 1950s

    This exact recording was used (and credited) in the 1955 cartoon directed and written by Tex Avery, "Sh-h-h-h-h-h".

  • @DEOGIUSI YES! I once I saw this again as a few months ago, I realized Dan Castellaneta's explanation of how he came up with "D'oh!" for 'annoyed grunt' is very suspect, after seeing this!

    i was 4 or 5 years old, tape recording this right off the TV. thought it was the funniest thing i saw in my life

    didnt make the connection till many years later

    was once broadcasted on a woody woodpecker at 3 am in the 90's

    then

    found on a OOP VHS -the store went out of business...
