You can just read the "Factor of the military" section and "Deep state" sections (if you don't want to read it all) and you'll understand to see also why Turkey has issues in joining the EU ).

This guy displays the issue too dramatic

It's people like this guy that plant seeds of conflict between people (and I'm not talking only about Cyprus)

My boss at work is a turkish cypriot, and we work in a company in the greek area, and I know many other businesses in the greek side that employ turkish cypriots with the SAME paycheck of greek cypriots (even though the turkish lira is lower than euro)

Understand that we have NO issues with turkish cypriots.

What we fear is Turkey itself.

that's easy.Everybody loves to hate Turkey.Especially Middle east.We are working with Dubai since 1977 and we builded Dubai Trade Center. Also we have oil and Quatar invested in Cyprus. Israel is with us and US starts to hate Turkey soooooo......... Also in 2012 the Limassol Marina and 35 Floor Skyscraper,5 star hotel of Quatar and another 7 star hotel will be finished so if you think we hate Muslims this is wrong cause Cyprus people came from the Arab Gulf.

There is nothing to talk about the whole demands are simple: turk invaders will have to leave and give and the people of Cyprus can enter their homes again. All the invaders will leave and noone will stay.
