Branches in Blue

'Branches in Blue' comes from the 'Branches' series published in 2003.

The branches were filmed moving in the wind above the bandstand on the Boundary Estate. The estate is the first council estate in the world and was built to replace the Friar's Mount slums of Shoreditch, East London.

The branches are like a patchwork of paths or arteries preventing a clear view of the sky.

Exhibited at Sketch in November 2004
