the xperia x1 does not have an accelerometer, bt how did you maage to use gamin mobile xt on landscape mode? also could you please tell me if the xperia x1 has virtual t9 keypad for texting (sms) etc

Hi, yes is free of charge it doesnt use a cellular line, just the gps, you buy the software and you can get the maps and install them on your cellphone, look on the web for garmin xt, you can find it even for free with a licensed key for the software and the maps, but it is pirate software

Or I just have to buy Garmin Software and pay for one time copy right fees. Then no extra charge?

No the device gets all the information with the gps, you have to download the maps to ur device from your pc, in the garmin software there are utilities that may need internet connection but for navigatin only with the gps is enough

actually ım wonderıng the same, do you need to connect to gprs everytıme when u r usıng?

probally a stupid question but the maps are included on the program or you got to have a internet data plan active.? Thanks
