Oh where is the true spirit that George left the NYCB, they know the moves, they have the style but they dont have dancers that can dance it anymore, the nutcracker was a mess, and unemotional, unlike the expressive dancers of the past, before the 90's when everything seemed to be sole focused on technique,only the russians seem to be able to have the abillity to have soul in their characters as they dance.
They might have the great teachers but something is lost in translation.

WHY are they lifting their heels in demi plie?!?! and why are their arms so high? i always get young SAB girls coming to my studio, they have nice legs, nice feet. but their arms are a mess.
