Electroharmonix Deluxe Memory Boy demo (pt.1 of 2)

This is a demo of the new Electroharmonix Deluxe Memory Boy by Gearwire's Owen O'Malley. A thorough and concise demo of this cheap and fully analog delay pedal, with a very impressive set of features (tap tempo being only one of them) previously unheard of in an analog echo.

Plus, it is one of just a few true analog delay pedals with tap tempo that currently exist in the market (the others being the Diamond Memory Lane 1, 2, the Deluxe Memory Man with Tap Tempo, the Analogman one with the extra controller and the Young Pedals Time Stomp).

Hi there. I've just bought one and I wanted to ask: Did you notice a strange rustling, like a whirring when the effect is on ??? I bought it new and I wonder if it's normal. Would you tell me something please?

@TheDisappearingOneTV Sorry, don't own one... it doesn't sound right, though. Make sure you are not powering it from a One-Spot. Use its own adaptor.

@NegmaDeath So do I but it has its limitations, many of which can create problems that other more expensive power adaptors don't.

@TheDisappearingOneTV I now have one... Yes, there is a bit of that sound, but only when you are using extremely long times (from 500ms and up - it can go up to 1500ms) or when you are applying an intense low cut to the signal (check the manual on how to do that). You might also have that when you use heavy square wave modulation.
