I loved Black Sabbath the way a lot of kids my age loved Kiss - unconditionally. I loved Ozzy, I loved Dio, and I loved Ian. 'Born Again' is fairly gooftastic, but still pretty bitchin'. I remember when this CD dropped and thinking that this and the OLD 'Who Are You' cover were the real stand outs.

OLD were geniuses. I like all of their work, even Formula. James Plotkin and Justin Broadrick were the two guys in the 90s that I could always rely on for great music. Even today, both are involved with or playing in some amazing projects.

say what you will about the cover, the production, etc. but tommy can make riffs like NO ONE else. listen to "paradise city" by guns n roses. total rip from this riff. also danzig's "her black wings".
