Unmarked Lincolnshire Police BMW 5 Series Estate Doing A Traffic Stop... ON US!!!

You see, we were on our way on a bus to a trip when I heard a siren... so I got my camera ready to catch whatever it was as it went past... then the siren stopped... I waited some more... then a nice BMW went past... then blue lights flashed in the rear window while the fog lights pulsed as a big matrix board in the back said "POLICE" "FOLLOW" "ME".

The copper (who was a very friendly chap, great to have spoken with him) who pulled us over said it was for a Safety Check as the two story bus was full of kids, he'd seen the bus stall and the bus was old. Then we were let on our way within' five minutes.

Here's the car behind us because as I didn't want to post the video of it with the back lights on as the plate is clear for two seconds.

You might be interested to know that unmarked cars are registered with the DVLA multiple times - that means that they have multiple registrations marks.

When I use to work for a garage we would service lots of unmarked cars - they all had lots of sets of plates in the boot which could be changed at regular intervals.

Didn't know that. I'd have thought they kept them in the garage in a draw or something.

@SonicOverlordUK Yeah, you would have thought so. It was a few years ago now. I guess they're more strict given the new number plate regulations.
