All else being equal, I think a warlock is absolutely necessary with embolden. It would be a shame to lose the entire fast scoring unit due to 1-2 losses.
The optimum unit is 1 embolden warlock, 2 cannon bikes, and 4 normal bikes... at least, all else being equal again, that's what the math supports, allowing the unit to be useful against light armour, light infantry, and monstrous creatures.

Yes, exactly... except that, to my knowledge, jetbikes move 12" in the movement phase and 6" in the assault phase.

papaskittels shasos right u can move 12 shoot and move 6 in the assault phase even if u dont assault.. it doesnt say that they can in the eldar codex but in the rule book under jetbikes it does. : )
