ok well im kinda stuck on this part on killing him. Im not sure wat 2 do n plus im always getting killed and i didnt have enough style points on the last mission to get an upgrade so.........any tips anyone?

Here's my advice to you: Abuse the slow motion. When I started playing, i'd die a lot until I actually starting using the slow motion more often.
And yes, you're supposed to shoot him until the "X" appears over his head, then run up to him and press "X." Then you'll get the cutscene.
