@cobalt1747 Lol sure. next time i go out ill post a video of the little truck climbing some hills. You should look up 2wd s10 and sonoma on youtube. There's some beast 2wd offroading.

@iTzTrAx1 In a way i agree with you, but on the other hand he COULDN'T make it up, he kept gettin hung up and high centered and couldn't get over that rock, i could probably make it in mine but my truck is twice as big as his ssooo...However I'd like to see you climb up this in your daddies little truck...You wouldn't make it half as far as him

The 4.3 did not exist in the S10 until 1988. Yours was swapped in, and to prove it, check your VIN...8th digit is the engine code, in 86 it's either E or R. E is 2.5 I4 and R is 2.8 V6. This truck is an 85 or older since it has the old dash, so if it hasn't been swapped, sounds like a 2.8 V6 that would be carbed in this year.
