  • Watch again when Seller's is playing Dr Strangelove...the extras in the background can be seen trying to stop themselves from laughing.

  • Everytime i watch Dr Strangeglove it is the Peter Bull trying not to laugh that makes me erupt so much. You can't help but wish to have been in that room during that take. lol

  • I had the idea for a shot-for-shot remake of this movie - James Woods in the Sterling Haiden role - Tim Wilson in the Slim Pickens role - David Ogden Stiers as the Russian Ambassador - Gene Hackman in the G.C.Scott role - "The Rock" as Bat Gwano - Rowan Actkinson as flight leftenant Mandrake - Bob Newhart as the president - Christofer Lloiyd as the doc.

  • min 5:23 " Early draft opens with ETs observing Earth before a nuclear war"

Thats one of Kubrick´s many homages to Werner von Braun.

  • ...thanks much uploader!

  • have you ever heard of fluoridation...fluoridation water? Mandrick?

  • "Dr. Strangelove",alongside other great Cold War films like "Fail Safe" (1964) and "The Bedford Incident" (1965), will surely remain an impeccable (albeit hilarious) classic for many decades to come. Outstanding acting, gloomy and dreary b&w backgrounds, negative outcomes/climaxes; these films actually reflect a doubtful time when the world was on the constant brink of annihilation. They do not make them like that any more, and same for the actors.I own all 3 films and can't get enough of them!

  • Especially Peter Bull who played the Russian Ambassador! You should see him cracking up in the background near the end!

  • dr. strangelove - the best film ever!!!!!

    a must watch movie!!!

  • I recall seeing this film. How frightful and bizarre
