I'm about to be studying Game Theory as part of my course and am fascinated by it, but can somebody help me with the Big Brother scenario? Surely on a pure-payoff standpoint it's in the best interest of an individual player to not share? If you choose to not share, then you either win £50,000 or nothing while if you choose to share you either win £25,000 or nothing. What am I missing here?
