Nell Irvin Painter is an eminent historian recently retired from Princeton University. Among her books are Creating Black Americans and Sojourner Truth: A Life, a Symbol and the upcoming The History of White People. She is known for questioning traditional notions of history and how it is told. That would be plenty for most people, retired or not. But Nell Painter has embarked on yet another adventure: she is going back to school, as an undergraduate, to study art. State of the Arts producer Amber Edwards spent a few days with Nell Painter -- in her capacity as historian and as art student -- to find out what drives this accomplished woman to keep topping herself. Talk about intimidating. A respected historian like Nell becomes your classmate or even your student.

Another misguided African with Traders guilt, She's an educated FOOL, who proudly regurgitates white supremacist teachings & married into a cult-ure who's main objective is too dominate, oppress & mistreat all of the non-white people in the known universe. Her DIVIDED LOYALTIES automatically makes her incapable of being true to the struggle for Black liberation. Her message is watered down to accommodate her Husband,s white guilt as well as his race! FRAUD!
