my fightstick wont register any left, upper left or lower left movements should i send it back to get fixed or should it be fine if i replace the joystick?

Call Mad Catz customer support. They are aware of issues with some of the SEs. They are ready to help.

You can try messing with the directions. Before removing anything, use the 5 pin connector and plug it into a spare joystick. If that joystick works, then the stock one is bad.

awesome mod dude. i might be doing this. i was thinking of getting one of the new Round 2 TE Sticks and i was just wondering if this would be possible on one of those. Also, while u were doing the mod you said something about unplugging the ground wires from the terminal block. my question is, after you finish the mod do they ever get plugged back in. sorry if that's a dumb question. i dont know much about wiring and grounding and stuff like that.

Are the points the same on the PS3 TE stick? The middle pin?
