i used the distortion, if you turn it u pto the max you get the crunchiest distortion. I thought it sounded so vintage and cool, i dont know why everyone hates it. I plugged in my boss overdrive and got an epic distortion with it.

This sounds way better than a tube amp.

i loved this. it really sounds like duanne eddy to me

I got the exact same guitar...sounds good!!!

it's incredibly clean, so you have a very pure signal to run it through effect pedals, so you can get all your sounds with your pedals

the jc is damn tricky to get straight. but then, you kind of need some effects to make it do what you want it to.

my jc 1290 is an older model and the distortion is amazing the newer ones suck

@intheshapeofhuman it sounds great. i have a feeling you just dont like the style of music

Hello, good job on the video and demo !
One question: Why spending the money on this amp and not a tube amp ? Where you going more for the clean sounds ?

How distorted can it get with the distortion knob?

I'd agree that you should stay away from the distortion knob all together. I do however like a few of the sounds I can get through the amp using a blues driver.
