Early performance by Deee-Lite of their 1990 mega-hit "Groove Is In the Heart". Recorded in 1989 at New York's Irving Plaza at the "Viva Carlo Viva Libertad" benefit concert to help raise legal-defense funds for art critic and curator Carlo McCormick after he was tossed into a Mexican jail.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I've been looking for footage from this performance since seeing a TINY clip of it in the Dance International Video Magazine interview later that year and have never seen it in its entirety!
