C5 Z06 vs 911 GT3RS at firebird east

I started right behind this beautiful 911 GT3 RS and 20 minutes later, ended the session right behind him. I consider that a pretty good showing against such a fantastic car. My car is a 2001 Z06 with 350whp, Hawk HP+ pads, and mismatched street tires.

This is Some of the most awesome driving i have seen!, Great job bro. Concidering that you had mismatched street tires and the GT3 has Racing compounds, You would of passed him if you had racing tires as well. I would love to see more of your videos racing!. You make our beloved C5Z look like the king of the race track that it is!

Wow, thank you! You can see in my Supra comparison videos that I picked up a couple seconds in lap time on this track after this video was made and I got some Falken Azenis tires. I just replaced my clutch and flywheel this last week and bought some HAWK race pads. I expect to be at the beautiful Inde Motorsports Ranch in March. I'll try to get some footage in HD and post it up.

not bad vid to be honest quite enjoyed it....im not gonna slag your car off....just cant be bothered to argue no more....good race....you should compare your car to these kinda toys not my kinda toy. thats 1 vid watched. to the next 1.

yea to me it seemed to ride even bet than stock as i said im almost 6'5" 270 i fit great in the e36 better than the e46 mine was silver no spoiler, black interior with the vader seats only thing i noticed on that car was when pushed you had to check the front subframe connector once in awhile loosens up alittle i replaced it with the x-brace didnt seem to have problems after that

That sucks big time! My brother's is black but looks greyish in sunlight. I will definitely post video of it. It and the Z06 will be on the track at the same time, so even if we don't get a camera mount fabbed up it time, we will have footage shot from the Z06. Couple of things about the e36. I was amazed at how roomy and comfortable the back seat of that little car is and I was very suprised how nice it rode after the HRs and Bilstiens.
