Visualization: Factiva's Discovery Pane

Subscription database vendor Factiva has is using visualization in some interesting ways these days. Theyve created a new Discovery Pane filter set to default. Its a visual tool to help users by giving cues that both surface and allow for dynamic filtering of the information found by a simple search. Pros: 1. All graphs are clickable
2. Feature descriptive wording, number of cites. 3. Discovery pane can be closed save space. Cons:
1. Graphs are small, and wording abbreviated. 2. Baffling export feature? 3. Cant be expanded beyond 200 pixels.
