Flatwound 11s by Thomastik. This is a reissue T. Rose under Fender. These guitars where blown out by Musician Friend at 999.00 to make room for the T. Rose with the Chet Atkins logo.

Thanks for your comments. I think it is possible to play surf music with a Gretsch with single coils.
