Original video of this wonderful track has gone missing again. From the album 'Lifeboat' by The Sutherland Brothers and 'The Very Best of The Sutherland Brothers and Quiver'. Produced by Muff Winwood with fabulous keyboards on this track by the his younger brother, Steve Winwood (ex Traffic). Original Album also featured 'Sailing' and the UK version differs from the USA version as Quiver joined forces at that time so some new material including You Got Me Anyway were added to the American recording. Written by Iain Sutherland.

Hi There, Phivosify-
This is one song I never get tired of hearing, I loved the first couple of albums the Suths did, but then they seem to have run out of inspiration, as after a while it mostly sounded like pub-rock to me.
Their early songs were really original, great stories and lyrics, like The Pie, and You Got Me Anyway, what went wrong?

@cruithneuladh - You need to listen to Where Lies Your Soul from 1977, it is uploaded on my other channel, apart from 'Slipstream' I actually love all their albums, including the solo ones. Of course, changing the producer and adding Quiver made them more pop than folk rock. Wish someone would upload 'Not Fade Away' which was the 'b' side of You Got Me Anyway. One thing, you are correct, I love this song, always have.
Cheers :-)
