This is a great tutorial but I can't figure out how to do with with CS3 :( Is it possible with an older version of the creative series suite?

@slorpthegillman Is that supposed to be an ass-hat?
That struck me as hilarious. Nice work.

wow didn't know photoshop can do that !

I can't see the 3d model that I import. I can paint on it and it shows up on the diffuse map, but it just shows white in the viewport.

how can i import a smooth mesh? can i somehow import a smooth mesh without clicking smooth? like when i click the hotkey for smooth, it wont save as that, just the original mesh

@WatashiaiNeji because "3" (the hotkey for smooth) doesn't really smooth, its a preview of what it would look like if it was actually smoothed. ..so.... you just have to smooth it. Sorry dude.

;\ If I had the computer that could handle model painting in photoshop, I'd texture better then you without using any stocks. Makes me mad that I'm poor </3

@leminlyme </3 is that supposed to be an ass-hat? Why would you texture better after I had textured? I recommend investing in stocks, especially early while they have time to fully vest. Oh, but you're poor. Probably because you insult people who provide you with free educational material instead of seeking a job.
