Incredible footage. German gun cameras recorded in only a few frames per second, so it gives the appearance that their firing passes lasted agonizing minutes. In reality, a firing pass on a bomber in formation lasted all of 2 or 3 seconds. Tactics taught to Luftwaffe interceptors was to attack 5 to 7 o'clock low or massed head-on attacks at 11 to 1 o'clock. Earlier model B-17s & B-24s lacked sufficent nose armament to defend against suck head-on attacks.

Rubbish! Where did you do your research? Fighter planes had only sufficient ammunition for around 20 to 30 SECONDS of continuous firing. That is why theu restricted themselves to short two second bursts. Five minutes continuous firing indeed! They couldn't carry enough ammunition! Even if they had space enough to store it all, they wouldn't be able to get off the ground! Go do some proper research!
