Racism in Japan

Im talking about racism in Japan not from what I've seen on TV nor from what I've read on the internet etc but from first hand experience living in Japan.

good perspective! yeah, japanese people don't care about what race are you from...but expect some people that will treat you indifferent because you came from outside.are you still living here in japan?

@kk4christ777 Hey, actually I got more black friends here than white.. I've worked with/for Nigerians and got a lot of Nigerian, Jamaican, Kenyan etc friends and unfortunately they do cop it. I got three mates from the US, black fellas and they seem to be fine.. Wanna know sumthin' Fuuucked up?? When part of my own family here found out my Grandfather is Polynesian (what they consider black) I got banned from their house... Yeah, it's messed up!..

I guess there are bigots in every country. Whenever I go visit my relatives over there, I too experience a little bit of racism. Even at the airport, I speak fluent Japanese and I 'd ask the employees a question, and they'd be polite and all but as soon as they see my US passport, they treat me with this "uekaramesen". That's why hate the kantou area. I've never had this experience in the Kansai area though.

karateforlife777, that's nice to know and all, but how do you exactly know they are Korean Japanese? It's pretty hard to distinguish between a Japanese and a K/J. I just don't think it makes sense for them to be racist towards others while they are mixed themselves.
