Antonio Graceffo, the Brooklyn Monk, takes us to a training session inside of Windy Muay Thai, an excellent professional Muay Thai gym inside of the night bazaar in Bangkok. In addition to pad work, see some of the wrestling practice necessary for top Muay Thai fighters. Meet a female Muay Thai fighter from Australia who hits harder than most men. This episode of Martial Arts Odyssey was filmed parallel to a new cable TV show, which will be airing in America, featuring Antonio Graceffo. • dear, i wonder if the gym is near lumpini park ? ,and also if they sell windy gear at the gym , thanks!

  • @Elchori79 The gym used to be in the back of the Night Bazaar, but about a year ago, it moved to another location.

  • anybody are the windy gloves any good im looking to buy some but cant decide between windy or fairtex im even considering twins special

  • @dillstrush my gym in cambodia always uses twins. i think the quality is almost as good as fairtex but the price is much lower. i have fairtex gloves now because it was part of a sponsorhip they gave me. windy is probably the lowest quality and price of the three brands.

  • @brooklynmonk1 Thanks for the reply man...How is Saiyok as a person...Is he a nice guy? We all know he is a monster in the ring!

  • @yobro250 Saiyok was there when I trained there last in 2010. As for the name, it has like five names, Pertie's Gym, Windy, and Muay Plaza 2004. It has since moved to the back side of the Night Bazar.

  • @brooklynmonk1 Isn't this gym called Muay thai plaza 2004?

Also is Saiyok still there? Thanks

  • @dillstrush Hiya mate most thai gloves are made in the same factory but given different badges ie twins, windy, sandee the best make ive used that are a different design are top king awesome make very happy with them ! hope this helps

  • Not that i am aware of. as far as i know, fairtex started as agym and earned an international reputation, then began producing equipment.

  • so is there a training gym for every muay thai equipment brand? everyone knows fairtex gyms, do other brands have gyms too, like twins special for example?
