The Aces 2 ejection seat the F-16 Fighting Falcons pilot an seat is exactily designed for the purpose to help the pilot handle the G forces that build up during aerial combat.

Guys, there's a full 90-minute podcast episode with more cockpit audio than you can handle. Check it out in the October 2008 archives at the URL in the logo at the end. (YouTube apparently won't allof URLs in comments like this one).

Er, 19Truth53, the objective is to put the missile up the OTHER guy's tailpipe. Better to go guns, though.

The seats in the F-16 are fixed at a 30-degree recline and aren't adjustable. Depending on who you talk to, it was either designed that way to help G tolerance or it was a design problem that they solved by reclining the pilot.
