@chica476 The Chinese provided all kinds of supports to the North Vietnamese. What was even more critical and normally not acknowledged in the laundry list of war material is the psychological and strategic advantage provided by Communist China’s pledge to intervene in the advent of a United States invasion of North Vietnam, and communicating that pledge to the U.S. This strategic advantage in effect cannot be overstated.

This is a conservative speech at that fail to recognize the main thing; htere was no good reason to intervene in Vietnam. And the USA could not win this war unless it exterminate the whole vietnamise people. Considerinf the american involvment in the Vietnam war as something "limited. do not make sense regarding the massive actions made by the United States in Vietnam as a war efort. The problem was and is political at the beginningÈ You had no good reasons tu be there.
