Well it's a long story but basically at this point [season 5 - first 3 episodes] Clark and Lana are finally together again. Clark no longer has any of his powers. They have just love their virginity to each other and are on cloud 9 of love. A twist of events rises and Clark is shot to death. He dies in the hospital, right in front of her.

This scene comes a few minutes after it. Jor-El [Clark's biological father] gives him his life back! So when Lana comes to see the Kent's, the last person she expects to see is Clark. Therefore, you get the best CLANA moment, ever.

I absolutely agree, too! The chill that's sent down my spine... I don't think any other moment in Clana history can top this. It was so genuine and you can just sense the electricity in the scene; many many kudos to Tom and Kristin. But also makes one wonder -- whatever happened to that in season 7?

I agree!! KRISTOM is just amazing and I'll never get over the idea of them not being together in reality. LOL. I dont know how you can pretend love someone for almost a decade but never in reality. Oh well, I'll recover when I'm 50. LOL. I think this season...well I think she's just been scarred one too many times. I hope they have one last impactful moment before Lana leaves Smallville for good!
