just finished the book, and it is an excellent read, i recommend it to anyone!
i am yet to see the movie though, and its been out for what, two years now?

Is the movie similar to the book? I have just finished reading it for a homework and I wondered if the movie would be a good summary of the book.

the book is awesome, but you cant enjoy it like a spanish, or a portuguese, the lenguage, it´s so much.

I don't remember anything from the movie, except for it sucked. The book is probably good, but you shouldn't just make a movie, to earn some easy money... Like in this case. It really sucked.
Youtube is a multicultural forum, and English is not even close to being my first language. So if you want people to debate on your language, don't expect perfect English skills from everyone.

@sjoelund1 i don't think its realistic that people go blind suddenly and only see white, but it's a good book still. they give in to rape, first because saramago explains how powerful the drive of hunger is, and second, it has nothing to do with the movie, if that's what you're trying to get at. just read the book again or something, lol. it's just a hollywood version of a book, no movie is ever going to be as good as a book.
and ps, work on your grammar if you're going to try and criticize.

honestly i think this movie is pretty good, yes its hard to follow but ounce you get it its a very good movie........just my opinion XD
