HL2CTF Final Update Demo

Solo gameplay video capture demonstration of the HL2CTF game modification now successfully running under the Source Base SDK.

*The last version of HL2CTF (beta 1.71) was rendered unplayable due to the last HL2 multiplayer update for Orange Box but, as the video demonstrates, the dev team has solved this problem.

The video also shows the maps from previous releases that have been updated and will be included in the official release along with a couple new maps and game modes.

The mod has been released. We have 5 download mirrors at HL2 CTF dot com and got around 25 servers up and running over the weekend.

@magnum357help We were considering updating the voiceovers, but I think we'll leave them alone. Not like you asked, but it did come up that we may rework all of the radio voiceovers. As for the song, I just threw it together playing with Fruityloops.

Is it possible to run a local server with bots? A few of us at work play CSS on a local server in the afternoons, and would be great to try this out...

We missed the release, but it pushed us to try and get it out. This brought us some really great new features that otherwise may not have made it into the game. We're really close now though. Things are looking really good. New video coming soon!
