How to Make Rocketdock Icons Using Photoshop

In a requested video (my rocketdock/windows sidebar) I received yet another request, about how to make custom icons for a rocketdock. Although I can't make icons as incredible as the ones you see if you visit the rocketdock website, I am working on a "sydus" collection, and I decided to share my knowledge because of the request. I'm not familiar with GIMP, so I decided to make two tutorials, one in photoshop and one in GIMP because GIMP is free. This is the one I know how to use better so if you have photoshop, you should probably use primarily this tutorial.

I saw that you were wondering how to make transeparent in gimp. Heres how: Go to layer>transparency>Add alpha channel.

Ive saved my as a png on my photoshop and it didnt work

what do you mean it didnt work exactly? was there just no clear background or did it not even open up in rocketdock?

If you press shift while shrinking your pic, it stays in the same... (i dont know the word in english, im german). I mean the realation between the sides dont change...
