@stuvaio actually i don't think he ever did, what i thin this was was his gimmick, his trademark, which set him aside from many other comedians and made him stand out, he may have done some drugs, but i think the voice and seizure twitch was all him.

This was the funniest and best "funny" movie ever made. I had a tragedy in my life and seeing this movie was more therapeutic than than the meds I I was taking for depression. I It, understandably, became a cult film. It's up there with "The Rocky Horror Show," I believe.
