yea to my undwerstanding tesla coild don't need much voltage found one site that sad tesla was running them from 120v but got them up tp producing 100 mil v so

Depends on the coil size and type. Really the only type of coil you'd want to touch is a small DRSSTC running at a low BPS rate.
My DRSSTC is 40W input, and gives off ~40cm sparks, and touching them just feels like one of those little BBQ igniters.

How much V do u need???
would you feel anything if you where to touch the sparks? i know its a very high voltage...but its not the voltage that kills.
