i never knew you can actually eat the stuff it more likely not as supercold than nitrogen so you can touch it for a short period of time and be ok but eventually
if you touch it too long it could do a little
damnge to the skin i guest

Direct quote form google, "Dry ice can be handled safely with bare hands and can be held to skin for prolonged periods of time without bodily injury. Doctors have patients ingest large ammounds of dry ice to help lower body temperatures on a regular basis...." If doctors make people eat the stuff there is no way it will burn your skin. I let my children play with it all the time.

You can hold dry ice with your hand no problem. Its not as cold as normal ice. hdyudu is just stupid and giving bad advice.
