Ok, first of all, this is not music. It's exercises. So I don't want to hear one word about feeling. Second, between the playing, there is a bassy feedback sound. Please bear with it, it doesn't last too long. Other than that, please comment, and post responses. I love speed, I'd like to see how fast YOU are too!

  • how much do u practice daily

  • @ihasacat Usually around 10+ hours per day... I try to dedicate at least 4 hours of that specifically to building speed.

  • @ShredIsNotDead1986 dang man u should try for a world record cause your pulling 46 nps if u can do that for flight of the bumble bee

  • @ihasacat I've thought about it, but so far I've only been able to work flight of the b.b. up to around 450 cleanly... I got all the guinness info from them, pdf packets, and all, explaining everything I'd have to do, were i to want to break it.. but it seems still a bit far off lol.. it will still take some time to work up past dr hot licks speed, if i even can...thanks for the props though man. i appreciate it. \m/

  • cool man...thx a lot...how long u play guitar?

  • @flashpadxxx I've been playing for around 15 years now.

  • @ShredIsNotDead1986 hey man can you tell me some advice too?? love how clean and powerful you sound, amazing job!

  • @ShredIsNotDead1986 how do you practice 10+ hours a day and still pay bills and such

  • Some people talk shit about speed playing, but it's like DrHotLicks says. Speed guys, like the one in this video, can always slow down and play blues like a pro, but I bet you won't find many blues guys that can play as fast as he can. You can argue that playing fast like that lacks heart and soul, but I believe it opens new doors and over all makes you a better player no matter what your preferences are.

Personally I like metal, blues, and good ole rock-n-roll.

  • damn dude, you're as fast as a humming bird. i'm sending you a pm. it's a little long but PLEASE read it if you have time

  • @ihasacat yeah man no prob

  • any tips? :D
