Snowdrifts Forever plus a friend

Tordur is a good friend of mine online and off. I can say that because last summer we had the opportunity to meet when he and his brother came to the United States to visit their cousin who lives in Pittsburgh. It would have been great if there had been more time available that day, and if we had been able to jam a little. The next time we meet, we will have guitars in hand.

Mary Win is one of Tordurs favorite singers, and this is definitely his favorite Mary Win song. I only added a little guitar at the beginning and end of the song just to have the opportunity to jam with Tordur and Mary. This was something that was spur of the moment. I decided to do it because Im not going to have too many opportunities to play with two of my favorite artists at the same time again. I couldn't pass up the chance now.

Mary Win is a wonderful, very soulful, singer songwriter from Seattle. Her melodies are unusually beautiful and her lyrics are very thought provoking. At times her voice reminds me of Natalie Merchant from the band 10,000 Maniacs. Other times you can hear a definite influence from Neil Young. But her music is purely "Mary Win" and that means it is of a very high quality.

Tordur did a masterful job with his guitar addition and I didn't want to muddle up his guitar so I just made my contributions to the phrases leading into and out of the main body of the song. Tordur liked it and I hope Mary does too. Someday she is going to be a big star. She has a beautiful voice.
