Actually, I might be wrong on some of that, as I haven't seen all the Woody/Buzz toys, however, most the toys are off from the toys they're based off of.

I think that the original's coloration was due to its glow in the dark feature. The green paint was a type that absorbed light.

I still say that they have never quite mastered making these toys to how they should be, as its pathetic that toy stuff the film was based upon merely becomes part of the molding or its not even the same material. I never saw a complete Buzz either, with the karate chop action, nor a correctly padded Woody with a pull string at the same time.
