What about the fact that they changed what the explorer is? Fwd standard. No rear drive opinion. No v8. Should be called the turus xl

Have driven the Explorer, and it's big on the outside, feels big when you drive it, but it's small on the inside. Is based off an old Volvo sedan chassis it shares, and you can feel the compromises in the design, if you know where to look. Leg room is sparse, and the seats sit low. Room in the 2nd and 3rd row is below par for this class. Look at the GM full-size crossovers for a better value.....

its a really sweet truck, a family member bought one. the interior is really nice. good quality materials, its quiet, comfy and the exterior is beautiful. Ford definitely makes the best american vehicles

@CarWhiz22 Jeep is going to start with the Cherokee for diesel that should be interesting. Least now Ford is getting smart and using EcoBoost I like a big engine but if you can get good fuel economy out of a 4cyl and produces V-6 - V-8 power thats a bonus

@soyntgo4it yeah that makes no sense haha. I think that ford USA should enter the diesel market for the economy factor, we've only owned diesel cars - they're quick, economical and reliable.

@CarWhiz22 Ya Duratec V-6 I don't get why they can't put AWD or 4wd with the 4 banger that's annoying cause the new Escape has it.. FWD Explorer no thanks Auto makers to strange things.
