its funny that people are comparing sarah brightman with any serious opera singer. Sarah is a fabulous POPera singer. Like Josh Groban and Charlotte Church, she is great for introducing the masses to opera...but she can't be taken seriouly when talking about actual opera.

Anna is a great lyrical soprano, not a coloratura for sure. Let her sing all the Puccinis, not bel canto, please.

@Verityseo Ma per piacere non confonda il cotone con la seta e non offenda la Callas che se la batteva con soprani come la Tebaldi, la Scotto, la Stella, la Cerquetti, dei giganti di fronter a questa cantante... e soprattutto dia tempo al tempo, l questa cantante sta facendo lo stesso errore della Ricciarelli, canta di tutto e NON se lo può permettere!,Ha un suo ben preciso repertorio e non ha neppure un timbro magico!!

Non diciamo eresie, lei é un soprano accettabile e valido in tempi di vacche magre, ma prego i grandi soprano sono altra cosa... non confondiamio l'arte con l'artigianato!
