I actually quite agree with the message in this cartoon. It is the reason why most of the innovation of the past half a century happened in US, Japan and Western Europe, not Soviet, China and Eastern Europe.

Mind you, I'm normally very anti-American due to their foreign policy but this one is hard to disagree.
