NO LIP GLOSS LIPGLOSS

I've never been a massive fan of lip gloss as i think its one of the most over-used products. Over application can actual make you look like you're drooling :( not nice. When working with one on one clients or weddings, i always use either a shimmering orange, shimmering gold/yellow or a shimmering light blue/green eyeshadow (any eyeshadow will do). I line the lips (a must) then i apply the shadow to the bottom lip and upper lip. I apply lipstick. I blot. I repeat. This gives the lips complete 3D dimension with the impression of gloss without the stickiness, plus it helps set the lipstick. The result is always subtle but amazing. I love it. And i hope you love it too.

when you do this it seems yo are using lipsticks that hve shine already.... likethe lip tars does this still work with more atte orcreme lipsticks? i doubt you will respond seeing as you neverhave before but i figured id ask ayways but i have the perfect orange shadow to try this so im gonna go for it but i do agree that lipgloss is over used...i know i have more glosses than lipsticks...what do u think about wearing just a light gloss with no lipstick? thanx xox

@priscilladeldeserto The pigment ultramarine blue is eye approved, but not lip approved. One usually talks about "eye/lip safe". If you're in the USA, neither is btw chromium green oxides or Ferric Ferrocyanide. This is however only what they are approved for, so eg. in the EU, Chromium and FF are approved to be used on the muscous membranes (lips) - even though the regulations are more strict over all. This is different from the particle size discussion. Anyways, in reality it doesn't matter :)
