Blago and Oprah

As part of his ”talk directly to the people“ (read the jury pool) tour, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich appears on ABC's ”Good Morning America.” Not only does he get to influence potential jurors, he also gets to make news, thereby taking attention away from his impeachment trial, which will take place without him. What better way to get publicity than to mention the Oprah? How about the way Diane Sawyer served up that big fat pitch for Blago to knock out of the park by asking, not once, but twice, ”who else were you thinking of?“ She must not have gotten the memo. Obama and his campaign staff, both those officially on his payroll and the rest in the MSM, are supposed to bury Blago to avoid calling attention to the slimy slough of corruption that spawned our current empty suit president.
