@caellum1115 hmmmm....I have been advised to phone again and repeat the request to the operator and then once verbal confirmation has been confirmed that the account is going to be closed. I am then to state that "I am recording this conversation as evidence" .... If then the account is not closed. Pursue with the ombudsman.
Or ...the online option as you suggest. I will see I guess. Thank you

I have phoned Citibank 4 times over 6 weeks for requests to close my Credit card account. The phone operaters "acknowledged" my concerns and sent me another credit card. So i can use another one , as well ? Citibank/Citigroup can't hear us.
